课题组长

陈凯园,所聘副研究员(Pre-PI),硕士生导师。2021年博士毕业于华中农业大学。主要从事植物CRISPR基因组编辑技术的开发以及在分子育种中的应用。以第一作者或共同一作在Molecular Plant期刊发表论文2篇,获国家发明专利2项。

研究方向

(1) 围绕“优薯计划”,利用基因组编辑技术创制马铃薯雄性不育系,助力二倍体马铃薯杂交育种。

(2) 结合基因组编辑技术,探索可固定杂种优势的育种策略。

(3) 在植物中开发并优化基于CRISPR系统的遗传操作技术。


Chen Kaiyuan, Pre-PI, Master Advisor, received the Ph.D. degree from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2021. His research focuses on the improvement of plant CRISPR genome editing technologies and their applications in molecular breeding. He has published two papers in Molecular Plant as the first author or co-first author, and obtained two invention patents.

Research Interest

(1) Creating genic male-sterility potatoes for diploid potato hybrid breeding by CRISPR technologies.

(2) Exploring breeding strategies for fixing heterosis by genome editing technologies.

(3) Developing and optimizing CRISPR-based technologies for the manipulation of plant genomes.
